Came to Mithr Thai for lunch and it was INCREDIBLE. Oh my goodness....the service! From the moment you walk in, you're treated like they are so genuinely glad that you're a guest. At every nanosecond of the meal, they were either refilling our glasses, removing plates, or making sure that we were comfortable. Our drinks....Counterpunch and Thai Iced Coffee, were very good and well crafted. Our appetizer was two orders of the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings and they were AMAZING. The lettuce base was a nice touch and the dumpling sauce was sweet, a bit thick, and complemented the dumplings to perfection. We both ordered the Phuket Pineapple Fried Rice and they were exquisite. We were impressed with the portion size and every ingredient placed this dish on my to-order list, for the next visit. For dessert, we shared the Mango Sticky Rice. Oh, boy.... this was incredible. The mixture of the mango, the sticky rice, and the coconut milk made every spoonful divine. Mithr Thai will definitely be revisited and I appreciate the work that they invest into satisfying each visitor.

I have been to Thailand twice and have always had such a hard time finding good Thai food in the states. Well, I just found AMAZING Thai food in NYC. We had 5:30 PM reservations and needed to wait about 10 minutes as the place was packed. No worries as they had a little seating area and we could look at the menus while we waited. The staff was extremely friendly. Our waitress gave us some great food recommendations and all of our food was delicious. We are already planning our second dinner to Mitr Thai! Our favorite thing we ordered was the curry!

This place is great for lunch. But I highly recommend making a reservation. It's small but very nicely decorated. The staff here is friendly. They're isn't an extensive drink menu but there's really creative cocktails. I tried a whisky based drink they introduced for the warmer weather. So refreshing. I loved the Kha Nom Jeeb (pork. Shrimp, mushroom dumplings). The spring rolls Por Pia Tod were tasty too. The Goong Muk Prik Klua was 100% delicious! It's fried (Sautéed jumbo shrimps, squid, garlic, chili, scallions, cilantro, kaffir lime leaf). Comes with rice. The lobster fried rice is tasty as well

I love Mitr Thai! We luckily were able to get a table without reservation, was packed on a weeknight. Ordered the anchovy papaya salad which was very spicy! Be aware! I can handle spice but this was next level. My pinnacle fried rice was the perfect main for after such a spicy appetizer. The broad noodles were good too. The staff came to check if we had any allergies, provided recommendations, and constantly served us water which I appreciated. Highly recommend

This restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and has two floors. They have nice decorations on the ceiling. Note that the restaurant can get very crowded during lunch hours. I did take out, and I had to wait a bit to go inside because there were a lot of people in front of me waiting to get seated. Ordered beef pad thai, beef Thai fried rice, curry puff, and thai iced tea. The curry puff was really delicious. You must get that as an appetizer when dining in or doing takeout. I also recommend getting the thai ice tea. The pad thai did not have much flavoring to it, which I would not recommend. However, the thai fried rice is recommendable. Overall, this is a nice place to visit with a unique interior design.

Hands down some of the best Thai food I've EVER eaten. I'm still dreaming about the Jumbo Shrimp. The flavors were so well balanced, perfectly spicy and the shrimp were SO JUICY. While this place is certainly not cheap, it honestly was worth every dollar. And I will say for the quality of the food, and the beautifully decorated space, it was very adequately priced! Even on a Saturday night, we got a walk in table immediately. From the outside you cannot tell how large the restaurant is. While almost packed, there's a lot of place making it rare that you have to wait unless you're a large party. The space is very well decorated, the mood was honestly lovely! Even our server and hostess were absolutely amazing, very sweet and gave us amazing recommendations. While my friends liked the green curry, it was a little too sweet for my liking, so keep that in mind if you like spicier food. Overall, 100/10 recommend!!

A reliable and delicious spot for lunch (special runs 11:30-3) with 2 floors of dining spaces. We sat at the bar. The food was delicious (pad Thai and krawpow--basil chicken). But the basil chicken (sub from pork) was not ground chicken. Felt slightly rushed but was delicious

First restaurant attended in New York City fresh off the airplane from San Francisco. #1 Thai restaurant in the 10019 zip code according to Yelp. 45 minute wait at 7pm on a Wednesday. Ordered off the Summer Specials Menu list, with a 15 minute wait for food. $32 Phu Nim Karee were eight crispy soft crab legs/bodies in creamy egg curry sauce. Might have been a bit over fried, as prefer a softer thinner batter. But the crab meat tasted great, and the creamy egg curry sauce savory and delicious. Long after eating the crab, we ate the sauce with the white rice, down to the last drop. $30 Gong Pad Kapi were eight sauteed jumbo shrimps with thai eggplant. The strips of eggplant were enhanced by long hot peppers and the flavorful sauce. Finger licking good once we peeled off the tails. Again, incredible sauce. Wife and I stood out, as resembled a Yelp elite event, with 70% of the guests Asian under the age of 35. They played disco beat music in a Thai restaurant - good thing as nobody wanted to hear native Thai music.

Ordered Mitr Thai lunch specials and was pleasantly surprised with how delicious this place was! I ordered green curry chicken, chicken skewers and a side of veggies. This was more than sufficient for two people. The green curry was rich with pieces of eggplant, bamboo shoots. I could not get enough of the curry that I kept eating it with the rice. The chicken skewers were also delicious with a homemade peanut sauce. I also ordered a side of steamed veggies. Which for $6 was such a great deal! And my order came with side salads. Overall highly recommend, lunch specials were a great deal. Would absolutely return!
